The Methodology of Web
Developments
Web development is very complex and tiring tasks. The websites that we visit is not a simple thing to do. The effort that web developers put into it is no joke at all. So how come it seems that there are still millions of new websites that pop up online every day? Maybe it is due to the fact as the internet is able to grow, so too is the interest of people of how to develop sites.
To accomplish such a task as developing websites, understanding and meeting the needs of the users is a must. There are six elements that may be considered and these six are continuous growing and developing process.
1. Planning – it is the process of being able to decide what style
or methods can be used to communicate the goals of the website effectively.
What will be the information on the website is also in the planning process
and how these data can be collected and updated.
2. Analysis – this process is where the gathering of data has been
made and collected and one needs to examine more closely the data gathered.
This is more of a screening process, as not all of the information researched
can be very useful. It is also here that one must analyze and figure out
what can be able to stir up more browsers, analyzing competitors, the process
of designing, planning and implementing the site as well.
3. Designing – within the specification of the data gathered from analysis
and planning, the web site is based and created. This is the part where actual
components of the site are needed to implement properly. Where factors such
as purpose, audience, domain information and objective are taken into consideration.
4. Implementation – the part where one needs to build the web itself
using the HTML (Hypertext Markup Language). This process requires certain
syntax to be able to form the structures. But as of late certain software
such as Microsoft FrontPage makes this task easier to achieve.
5. Promotion – the part where one needs to inform or gather public
attention on the website. What use is a pretty website if people don’t
know they exist? Working with other websites is one way of promoting your
site. Business marketing strategies may be used as well.
6. Innovation – never be satisfied with your website. Constantly see
what the competition is offering and what the audience wants. Then try to
change some of the things that the audience thinks is a little bit bad. Always
improve your website, make it user friendly and make try to exceed expectations.
The six methodologies of web development are like principles in life and
in business. To be continually on top of your game, try not to be happy with
what you have. Always try to achieve more. If you continually improve or
find ways to make your website, your business and your life better, the great
results are endless.
